Musician Teena Marie has reportedly passed away today December 26, 2010. According to the radio station, WDAS-FM, the answer is yes she has died. Though details have not been released on the cause of her death, I will keep you guys updated.
Teena Marie was the protegée of late funk legend Rick James, and is notable as one of the few successful white performers of R&B. She plays rhythm guitar, keyboards and congas. She also has written, produced, sung and arranged virtually all of her songs since her 1980 release Irons in the Fire. *She will be greatly missed*
